Graduate Assistantship in Physical Oceanography at the
International Arctic Research Center at the University of Alaska

Applications are sought for a graduate assistantship in Physical
Oceanography at the International Arctic Research Center (IARC) and
the School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences (SFOS). Available research
opportunities include field work in the Arctic and/or studies based on
numerical simulations or theory. A background in or aptitude for applied
mathematics, physics, engineering or fluid mechanics is
essential. Creativity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to work hard are
equally important. Appointments include a tuition waiver and
stipend.
